The Race Built to Kick Your Ass - CENTRAL FLORIDA Edition

Savage Race returns to Central Florida on March 10, 2012 with more than 21 twisted obstacles scattered about a rugged race course.  Savage Race Orlando features terrain and elevation changes not common to Florida.  It also has a 70 acre lake, so get your floaties ready.

Race Length

4.2 miles of Savage terrain, obstacles, mud, and an open water swim*
 
*Skipping the swim does not disqualify you, but a 10 minute penalty will be added to your time.

Wave Times

Waves will start at 9:00 am and start every half hour until 1:00 pm.  Waves are filling up fast, so register early to choose the time you want!  We will do our best to accomodate your chosen wave time, but in rare cases we will notify you that your wave time has changed.

Registration will be closed.  Absolutely NO registration will be accepted after this time.

You will be unable to modify any details of participant registration information after this time. This includes wave time, date, participant information and location.
 

Awards for Competitive Heats

Competitive heats are eligible for awards.  We are giving away 66 awards, so you have a great chance of going home with something!  There is an award for each category, male and female.

• First Place Overall:  Savage Axe of Fame and a $500 check presented by MooreMuscle (2 winners)
• First Place (age group):  25 oz Savage Race beer stein  (22 winners)
• Second Place (age group): 16 oz Savage Race beer mug (22 winners)
  
• Third Place (age group):  16 oz Savage Race beer mug (22 winners)

Parking

Parking at our Central Florida venue is limited.  We highly encourage carpoooling to save money.  Cars are $10.  Motorcycles are $5.
 

Spectators

Spectators are welcome to attend Savage Race for $10.00 per car. This fee includes a parking voucher.

Radisson Resort Orlando - Celebration
This year we negotiated a special rate with the Radisson.  They're knocking about $25 off the price of the rooms if you use the discount code "Savage" at checkout. It's about 25 minutes from the race site, but trust us that this is the SPOT to stay.  We personally toured this facility to make sure that we are putting you up in style. Among other amenities, this hotel has a giant pool with a Tiki bar, and looks like the perfect home away from home for you out-of-towners.

 This Gainesville, Florida native brings soul to the genre of acoustic-rock and does so with flair. Chris McCarty has wowed live audiences and television audiences alike through his already impressive career.

Dollface
The world has never really experienced electronic/pop/rock the way that Dollface has produced it. Members include Tiffany Martin (Lead Vocals), Jessie Covets (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Alayna Miller (Bass/Vocals), and Kayla Miller (Drums/Vocals). This four piece couldn't be a better fit! Each member brings a different element to the band, making them an unstoppable force. Dollface, hailing from Orlando,FL, has broken into the music scene and continues to expand further every single day.
